RFATS Long Range Transportation Plan Public Hearing

The Rock Hill-Fort Mill Area Transportation Study (RFATS), responsible for regional transportation planning will consider adoption of the 2045 Long Range Transportation Plan / Air Quality Conformity Report / Transportation Improvement Plan at its scheduled Policy Committee meeting on May 19, 2017 at noon. The public is invited to attend the public hearing at 10:00am and comment on the proposed plan.

The LRTP / AQ Conformity Report / TIP provides guidance to local and state agencies responsible for implementing improvements to the transportation system. This plan will direct the planning and decision-making process for the programming of transportation improvements. The LRTP / AQ Conformity Report / TIP can be viewed at the cities of Rock Hill and Tega Cay, the Town of Fort Mill, York and Lancaster counties as well as

the Catawba Indian Nation. The draft plan has also been posted on each municipality’s website.

Please be advised that this notice of public participation and opportunity for public review / comments will satisfy the MPO Public Participation Plan and FTA’s Program of Projects Requirement for the Urbanized Area Formula Program (Section 5307).
