Community Rides
Are a fun and relaxing way to discover neighborhoods, parks, and public facilities within Rock Hill. Monthly community rides are FREE and open to the public. Led by Rock Hill PRT's A.L.L. Outdoors staff, riders will cover approximately 5 miles at a leisurely pace with frequent stops. Loaner bikes and helmets available on a first come, first served basis (please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure time). Click on COMMUNITY BIKE RIDE FLYER for start locations and dates.

2017 Summer/Fall Dates:
Tues 8/15 (6-8 PM) Hargett Park to Fewell Park
Start Location and Route: Hargett Park (Hearn Street parking lot)

Thurs 9/7 (6-8 PM) Winthrop Campus to Manchester Meadows NOTE: 10 mile ride
Start Location and Route: DiGiorgio Center (DiGiorgio Center parking lot)

Fri 10/20 (6-7:30 PM) Old Town Food Truck Friday 
Start Location and RouteCity Hall (Hampton Street parking lot)  

Sun 11/5 (1-3 PM) Glencairn Garden to Cherry Park
Start Location and Route:  Glencairn Garden (Edgemont Avenue parking lot)

The Family Bike Adventure!
Sat 10/28/17 (9 AM - 1 PM)
Novant Health BMX Track - 1307 Riverwalk Parkway

Here’s how it works:
1) Bring your family, bikes, and helmets to Riverwalk.FBA BRH website image-01
2) Check in at the Novant Health BMX Supercross Track. When you check in, you will receive a PASSPORT with a map 
    and FOUR missions that you must complete as a family.
3) Complete ALL FOUR missions.
4) Turn in your completed passport at the Bike Rodeo in the BMX Parking lot for prize drawing—including a NEW BIKE
provided by our Grand Prize Sponsor RESOLUTE FOREST PRODUCTS.

No registration required. Waiver required, complete onsite or Download Online.

Beginners welcome but must be able to ride a bike without training wheels.
Check-in open from 9-10 AM, prize drawing at 12 PM. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN PRIZE.
"Family" team is any combination of children under 18 years of age accompanied by an adult.

In case of inclement weather, event will be cancelled.

Biking Bonanza! - Open House Event

Experience the many ways to have fun on two wheels at the Rock Hill Outdoor Center located in Riverwalk! Grab your helmet & bike and bring your family, friends, and neighbors to discover and experience all the things you can do on a bicycle at the Following Locations:
Giordana Velodrome - 1000 Riverwalk Parkway
Novant Health BMX Track - 1307 Riverwalk Parkway
Criterium Course - 1307 Riverwalk Parkway
Mountain Bike Trails - 1307 Riverwalk Parkway

Participation is FREE! No registration required. Waiver required, complete onsite or Download Online.
