2018 Glencairn BloomFest
Saturday, May 19, 2018 9 AM - 3 PM
We are already planning for another fun-filled Glencairn BloomFest event!
You can look forward to a free, family event with kids activities and vendors offering garden-themed items for sale. You'll find plants, garden art, pottery, baskets and other items -- many handcrafted -- for sale by area vendors. We also have a variety of activities for children to celebrate “National Kids to Parks Day.” Plus strolling musicians, garden tours and you can grab a hot dog plate for lunch! Join us at the Meadow at Glencairn Garden at 825 Edgemont Avenue. We'll have one-way traffic around the Garden to help with the flow. The 2018 Vendor Application will be posted here soon! Give us a call with any questions at 803-329-5620.
Hot dog plates will be for sale! Along with some tasty desserts. Your tummy is sure to leave happy!
Strolling musicians will entertain during the event!
At Glencairn BloomFest, we join the National Kids to Parks Day celebration by offering these fun activities ...
- Play games in the Meadow with friends and family! Parachute play, balls and more.
- Stroll along a path and read a children's book at Reading with Nature.
- Visit with the PRT Outdoor Education team who will share exhibits and information about animals and plants.
- Play the Litter Pick-Up Relay and learn about great habits like recycling!
- Explore the Children's Garden and pick a veggie from the Victory Garden!
Visitors will find plants, of course, as well as garden art and decor. Our vendors also offer many handmade items ... pottery, paintings, baskets, jewelry, candles and more. We look forward to hosting many of our popular, returning vendors and we welcome new vendors as well!
