The continually growing City of Rock Hill Trails & Greenways system includes trails for walking, running and biking throughout Rock Hill and totals 34 miles, currently. As examples within our city parks, trails wind through the wooded surroundings of River Park, next to the sports fields of Cherry Park and alongside the landing strip at the Airport Loop. A number of additional trails are planned for future development.

A Trails and Greenways Master Plan Update was adopted in April 2008. The resulting system map can be viewed below. The full Trails and Greenways Master Plan Update can also be viewed here.

Bike Rock Hill
Check out Bikerockhill.com for information about a local biking awareness campaign. You can also take a survey to voice your interest in biking and give feedback on conditions for cycling and where improvements for bike travel are needed!

Rock Hill Outdoor Center
The Piedmont Medical Center Trail is a great place to walk, run, ride a bike or bring your pet. The trail is the first public recreation amenity completed at the Rock Hill Outdoor Center. Approximately 250 acres will be devoted to river access, trails, cycling facilities, athletic fields, parks and gardens.
