Where is the airport located? (back to top)
The airport is conveniently located 4 miles north of the central business district of Rock Hill. From I77 proceed along SC 161 in the direction of York, following the airport signs. The airport will be on your right in approximately 4.5 miles and the terminal building is the brick building at 550 Airport Road. If traveling along I85, take SC161 in Kings Mountain staying on SC161 which takes you to the airport on left in approximately 25 miles. 

Does the airport close? (back to top)
No, the airport is always open for planes to take-off and land. The terminal building is open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. If you need assistance at other times, please contact Skytech at 803/366-5108. 

How do I know what the weather is at the airport? (back to top)
Pilots may listen on frequency 120.775 or you may call 803/981-9388 and hear the weather broadcast that is updated every minute. 

May I go for an airplane ride or learn to fly? (back to top)
Yes, Rock Hill Aviation provides sightseeing rides and flight instruction. Rental airplanes are also available if you already know how to fly. They may be reached at 803/366-5111.

A gift shop is located in the terminal building on the lower level.
