City of Rock Hill Emergency Response Center (ERC)
The City of Rock Hill maintains an Emergency Response Center (ERC) located in Law Center on Black Street. The Center is designed to be up and operational in a short period of time during emergency incidents. The ERC is where key department heads and support staff will be located for development of vital rescue, recovery and operational decisions. The ERC also has direct communication links with the York County Office of Emergency Management.
York County Emergency Operations Center (EOC)/
Multi-Agency Coordination Center (MACC)
The County of York maintains an Emergency Operation and Communication Center in the basement of Rock Hill City Hall – 155 Johnston Street. The York County EOC is designed to support key local and regional staff for response and recovery from both natural and man-made incidents that affect the residents of York County. The EOC is maintained 24 hours a day and has a similar direct link with the City of Rock Hill ERC in emergency operational incidents.
Mobile Command Posts
Both the City of Rock Hill and the County of York has mobile operation centers. Both are fully supplied with communication and operational needs for fixed command operations directly at the scene of the emergency. The City of Rock Hill’ mobile vehicle is identified as the Mobile Operations Center (MOC) and the County of York mobile vehicle is identified as Mobile EOC.
