Rolling in Rock Hill provides a wonderful opportunity for city government, churches, businesses, civic organizations, and citizens to work together to make Rock Hill a great place to live. Hundreds of volunteers work in teams to paint the houses of those who are either physically or financially unable to do it themselves.
  Since 1995, the Rolling in Rock Hill project has painted more than 250 homes using more than 1,500 volunteers and sponsors. Homes are nominated by individuals, churches, or community organizations and go through an assessment process. Homes must be owner-occupied to be considered.
