City of Rock Hill Community Relations Council Black History Month Event

In observance of Black History Month, the City of Rock Hill Community Relations Council will host the Black History Month Celebration on Thursday, February 21, 2019, at City Hall Council Chambers.  Please join us for the second part of a two-part series titled, “The Soundtrack of Excellence:  Rock Hill’s Journey Through African American Music.”

A reception with light refreshments will be held at 5:30 PM and the program will begin at 6:00 PM.  During the program, multiple performances by local musicians such as the musical groups 3N1, Plair, Winthrop Gospel Choir, Mellogroove and others will inspire us as members of the City of Rock Hill’s Community Relations Council walk us through Part Two of the journey of African American Music.

The event is free and open to the public.  For more information, please call 803-329-8714.
