River Park’s 70 acres along the pristine Catawba River offer a place to enjoy nature, trails and river access. Several miles of trails wind through the woods and include natural, boardwalk and paved surfaces. Among these, the Catawba River Trail runs along the river and is a 10 ft. wide, paved, multi-use trail that continues into the Riverwalk development to the north. The south end of the Catawba River Trail connects to the Waterford Trail. Trail signs at River Park include QR codes to help users navigate within the park. Learn about Outdoor Recreation.
