The Merry Mosaic Studio
The Merry Mosaic Studio is a dedicated art space where artists of all abilities can create artwork. Wendy Waddle is the program coordinator.
Therapeutic Art Programs (TAP)
We offer art programs to youth and adults with intellectual disabilities. Participating artists learn to design and create handmade items like pottery, painted tiles, photography and watercolor paintings.
Artists who choose to sell their art receive proceeds from the sale, thanks to a partnership with SC Area Eleven Special Olympics. Donations to help assist the program are welcome.
The Merry Mosaic Store
You can shop for artwork Mon.-Fri. 9 AM-4 PM and by appointment on evenings and weekends. All forms of payment are accepted.
Open Studio Time
You can create artwork on selected days with the guidance of staff. Currently, Open Studio is offered on Wednesdays 1:30 PM to 3 PM Jan. through Oct. You don’t need to register; the cost is $5.
TAP into the Arts
Our annual art show and sale, TAP into the Arts, features artwork from the Merry Mosaic Studio and a performance by the PRT Dance Troupe. The event is typically held in November.
