Nominations Open for 2026 Rolling In Rock Hill Paint Day

Post Date:12/16/2025 1:25 PM

The City of Rock Hill’s division of Neighborhood Empowerment is now accepting nominations from low to moderate income, elderly residents, and individuals with disabilities to have the exterior of their home painted as part of the community painting project, Rolling in Rock Hill. The spring 2026 Rolling In Rock Hill paint project will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, and the fall date is Saturday, September 19, 2026.

To be eligible for consideration: Homes must be owner-occupied and located in the City limits of Rock Hill. To qualify, homeowner must be in the low-to-moderate income bracket, an elderly resident or physically unable to paint their own home.

Rolling in Rock Hill, a community service project, provides the opportunity for city government, churches, businesses, civic organizations, and citizens to work together to paint the homes of residents who are physically or financially unable to do it themselves.

In spring of 2025, 92 volunteers painted 7 homes. In fall 2025, 200 volunteers painted 15 homes. The goal is to paint at least 20 homes, at a cost of approximately $500 per home.

There are a number of ways to help:

1. Nominate a resident for this free service.
2. Donate cash and/or materials.
3. Organize a group of volunteers.

Help make freshly painted homes a reality for deserving homeowners.
