Rock Hill, South Carolina is a business-savvy blend of historic charm and responsibly implemented expansion. The city is located in the north-central area of South Carolina approximately 20 miles south of Charlotte, NC along the I-77 corridor. Rock Hill is a growing community of 54,600+ residents, and the City encompasses over 31.8 square miles. While not the county seat, Rock Hill is the largest city in York County, SC and the only major South Carolina city in the Charlotte area.

With a mild year-round climate, recreation opportunities abound. Outdoor activities include boating, hiking and playing on some of the nation’s most outstanding golf courses. Lake Wylie and the Catawba River provide ample opportunity for water sports in Rock Hill.

A short drive to the Blue Ridge Mountains or the famed Carolina beaches, York County also offers easy access to a variety of destinations. With teams in the NFL, IHL and triple-A baseball as well as the reputation as a major NASCAR headquarters, the region continues to be recognized as a national sports market.

Rock Hill’s location provides a wide range of housing options from lakeside living to rural settings. Cost of living in York County ranks as one of the lowest in the Southeast. Plentiful shopping, dining, entertainment, medical service options make Rock Hill an ideal location.

Rock Hill is ideally located on the I-77 corridor between Charlotte, NC and Columbia, SC. Interstate 85, just north of York County, is an important link to Raleigh, Durham and Greensboro, North Carolina and to Atlanta, Georgia.

Charlotte/Douglas International Airport is 25 minutes north of Rock Hill via I-77 and is the 6th busiest airport in the world with over 700 flights daily. The local Rock Hill/York County Municipal Airport - Bryant Field is IFR certified, and is the major business/industrial airport serving the area. The airport supports passenger and airfreight service on demand but has no scheduled airfreight due the facility’s location within a half-hour of Charlotte/Douglas International.
