National Night Out is held the first Tuesday in October each year. This year's event is on the evening of October 6, 2026.

About National Night Out

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood fellowship to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Neighborhoods participate nationwide, with some events taking place in August and some in October, depending on the location.

National Night Out provides a great opportunity to get to know Rock Hill Police officers, other members of the City of Rock Hill team, and your neighbors!

How to Participate

Host a block party, cookout, ice cream social or simple get-together and help make your neighborhood a safer, better place to live.

Plan a neighborhood gathering the first Tuesday in October, and tell us about it! Rock Hill Police and Neighborhood Services will schedule representatives from the City to attend so we can get to know each other better.
