We strive to offer a variety of programs -- some free and some with nominal fees to help off-set costs.  If you need financial assistance, we may be able to adjust program fees based on your level of need.  Thanks to the Rock Hill Parks Foundation*, scholarship funds have been increased as of July 1, 2025. 

Applying for Financial Assistance 

• Please print and complete the Financial Aid Application (PDF).  Need will be based on the Financial Assistance Scale (PDF). 
• Bring your forms to one of the locations below weekdays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.  You will need the completed application along with the W2 and Federal Income Tax Return described in the application.
  • Boyd Hill Recreation Center
  • Cherry Park – Second floor of the tower in the center of the softball complex. 
  • City Hall - 155 Johnston Street; Enter the building at the flag plaza and check in at the desk.
  • Emmett Scott Recreation Center
  • Fewell Park Recreation Center
  • Manchester Meadows – Office in the main pavilion building.
  • Northside Recreation Center
  • Rock Hill Sports & Event Center
