Goals of the Rock Hill Parks Foundation

  • Improve and preserve park facilities, programs and ongoing leisure service needs
  • Provide a revenue source beyond our parks’ annual operating funds
  • Offset growing costs through public support and individual and corporate donations.

The Rock Hill Parks Foundation is an endowed fund created through the York County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Foundation for the Carolinas. The fund is administered by the Rock Hill Parks and Recreation Commission, appointed by Rock Hill City Council. This fund allows donors to honor loved ones at various levels and to designate a specific facility or program for the donation. Honorariums and memorials are available. Charitable gifts to the Rock Hill Parks Foundation are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. No gift is too large or small. Donor recognition is available at respective levels if desired.

Donations to the Foundation will not only strengthen the economy in Rock Hill, but will also make a positive impact on one of the leading regions in the southeast. “Our family has lived in Rock Hill nearly all of our lives and soccer has been an important activity for us for the last 20 years. The Manchester Meadows Soccer Complex presented us with a great opportunity to honor our three sons and to say thanks to Rock Hill” – The Carlisle Family, sponsor of Carlisle Field at Manchester Meadows.
