St. Patrick's Day Festival and Adaptive Easter Egg Hunt

(Left) The Old Town Association hosted the St. Patrick's Day Festival on March 14 featuring activities for all!

(Right) PRT hosted its inaugural Adaptive Easter Egg Hunt at Miracle Park on March 31, creating an inclusive experience for ages two and up.  The event prioritized accessibility with sound-emitting eggs, an accessible field surface and the option for companions to assist.

Sara King

Sara King joined the PRT team in Fall 2025 as a Tourism Sales Coordinator, where she focuses on increasing non-sports midweek venue sales and strengthening Rock Hill’s brand as a premier tourism destination. Originally from the Midwest, Sara is a “new-ish” transplant to the Charlotte metro area, bringing a background in sales within the design and hospitality industries. Although new to the PRT field, she is enthusiastic about learning the industry and contributing to the city’s continued growth and success.

Fun Facts: Sara is a certified floral designer with a creative spirit. Outside of work, you might find her experimenting in the kitchen, spending time in the garden, arranging flowers or exploring the mountains.

Facility Update

River Park Boardwalks and More

Dirt Churned up in a Small Garden 

The boardwalk project at River Park was recently completed.  Additional projects: 

  • The Cedar Crest gate upgrade is complete.
  • At Glencairn Garden, the Shade and Water Fountain pump installation is complete.
  • Miracle Park phase II is in progress.
  • The Southside Regional Park is in design and planning review.
